中五地理考察營
日期: 21/10/2026
On 20 and 21 October 2026, our F.5 Geography students took part in an enriching two-day field trip to Mui Wo and Cheung Chau. The trip aimed to deepen their understanding of agricultural systems and coastal geology, while developing their fieldwork and analytical skills.
In Mui Wo, students investigated conventional farming and controlled-environment agriculture. They classified land use and tested water samples to assess the impacts of urban development and the feasibility of sustainable farming. On the second day, in Cheung Chau, students observed coastal landforms from the Little Great Wall to Nam Tum, analysing weathering, erosion, and mass-wasting processes. They also practised using specialised field equipment to record weather conditions.
The field trip strengthened students' practical inquiry skills and fostered their appreciation of sustainable agriculture and geological conservation.
