5Ma Pang Wai Yu participated in the Physiotherapy Shadowing Programme organized by our school's Medical Club, gaining meaningful exposure to physiotherapy practices through clinical observation. Students observed patient assessments, treatment planning, and rehabilitation sessions, and were introduced to therapeutic modalities such as TENS, ultrasound therapy, and shock wave therapy, earning insight into how physiotherapy supports recovery, prevention, and quality of life.

As a service-learning experience, the programme emphasized learning through real clinical contexts and patient-centered care. Students were encouraged to reflect on the social role of physiotherapists in supporting patients, particularly the elderly and those with chronic conditions. Following the shadowing experience, students completed structured reflections based on Kolb's Experiential Learning Model, guiding them to describe their experiences, analyze their observations, connect practice with prior learning, and consider how they could apply this knowledge in future health promotion and community service activities.
