Doctoral Mentorship Programme for Future Medical Scientists

Members of our school Medical Club — Yemima Lam, Cynthia Lam and Jenny Jiang — participated in the Doctoral Mentorship Programme for Future Medical Scientists programme to engage in research projects related to biotechnology and genetic engineering, with a particular focus on their applications in medicine and healthcare innovation. 

The programme is a structured research-based learning initiative jointly launched by the Kowloon East Federation of Associations and the Kwun Tong District Youth Development and Civic Education Committee. Through seminars and workshops, doctoral mentors shared insights into current biomedical research trends, local and global research pathways, and career prospects in medical science. The programme further broadened students' understanding of the expanding career landscape in biotechnology and genetic engineering, including opportunities in healthcare and medicine, biomedical data analysis, pharmaceutical research, environmental health, and innovation-driven entrepreneurship.
