State Street Work Shadowing

From 25 to 27 August 2026, 13 F.5 and F.6 students participated in the State Street Work Shadowing 2026 programme, co-organised by Girls Go Tech (GGT) and State Street.

Hosted at State Street's headquarters in Central, this intensive three-day workplace experience offered our students an insider's view into one of the world's premier trust banks and asset management institutions. Through workplace shadowing across diverse departments—including financial markets, investment management, FinTech, and customer service—participants gained firsthand understanding of global corporate operations and modern financial innovations.

Beyond exploring daily industry workflows, students attended inspirational sharing sessions led by prominent female leaders, networked directly with corporate volunteers, and sharpened their competitive edge through personalised 1-on-1 mock interviews with instant professional feedback.

This immersive opportunity helped our senior students clarify their academic interests, explore potential career paths, and build confidence for their future endeavours in the international business landscape.
